India-based MKU has been awarded a contract worth $25 million for 40,000 bullet proof vests by Ecuador’s Ministry of Interior for its 43,000-strong police force.
The body armour was selected following extensive tests and field trials in Ecuador and deliveries are to be completed by May 2015.
