Singapore Airlines extends distribution agreement with Sabre

Neelam Mathews Feb 14, 2013 Singapore Airlines has renewed its full-content distribution agreement with Sabre Travel Network, meaning all Sabre-connected travel agents will continue to have access to all Singapore Airlines’ fares, schedules and inventory. With this agreement, Sabre will also support Singapore Airlines’ growth through increased global distribution system (GDS) media marketing by building awareness through marketing promotions and campaigns through Sabre GDS.

Bangkok Airways renews partnership with Sabre

Neelam Mathews Dec 12, 2012 Bangkok Airways is further investing in technology to improve its passengers’ experience, confident the strategy will keep it ahead of the competition. The airline recently renewed its technology partnership with Sabre Airline Solutions, extending its use of the SabreSonic Customer Sales and Service (CSS) system. Neelam Mathews Oct 10, 2012 Government-owned Mihin Lanka, a budget carrier from Sri Lanka, that will be starting a thrice weekly Colombo-Madurai flight from Dec 7, has signed a distribution deal with Sabre Travel Network, further adding to Sabre's budget airlines portfolio. Airphil Express Renews Sabre Partnership

News AWIN First Sep 01 , 2010 Neelam Mathews Philippines-based Airphil Express has renewed its partnership with Sabre Airline Solutions as its main eCommerce technology partner for five years. Airphil Express—with a fleet of 16 aircraft—flies to 28 destinations in the Philippines and will begin services to Singapore in October. Manila was recently chosen as Sabre’s regional base because of the quality of employee resources and the strategic business location. “The Philippines is located right in the heart of Asia, just four hours flying time away from major capital cities in the region,” said Steve Clampett, president of airline products and solutions at Sabre. Sabre is now supplying software that tracks flight movements in real time (Sabre AirCentre Flight ) and notifies the carrier of impending operations issues before they become problems. Another program, Sabre AirCentre Crew, will help plan and manage crew operations. This encompasses planning, crew rosters and pairing.
