Neelam Mathews Jan 7, 2012   Air New Zealand – one of the most creative and innovative carriers and a Star Alliance member- is partnering with Asia Miles, Cathay Pacific Airlines, Frequent Flyer Program. Cathay is also an alliance partner in the One World alliance. Starting Jan 31,Air New Zealand joins Asia Miles in the Airlines category. From this date, members will be able to earn Asia Miles on Air New Zealand flights between Auckland and Hong Kong – and start redeeming miles for award tickets later in the first quarter of 2013 (exact date to be announced). Neelam Mathews June 20, 2011 Cathay Pacific Airways has launched direct bi-weekly freighter service between Chennai and Frankfurt.  The service will operate on Wednesdays and Thursdays in addition to the four freighter services Cathay Pacific currently operates from Chennai to Hong Kong. These freighters will continue onwards to Manchester on Wednesday and Brussels on Thursday, making Cathay Pacific Cargo online to three European destinations from South India.  “India is shining -a growing economic super-power and has always been a big focus for Cathay Pacific Cargo.   We have grown in the country over the last few years and today we are the biggest freighter operator in India.
