Neelam Mathews March 5, 2014 QuEST Global Manufacturing and QuEST Global SEZ are being rebranded as Aequs (pronounced a-cus).  The Aequs brand was unveiled at an event in Belgaum by  Dr Klaus Richter, Executive Vice President - Procurement, Airbus Group.  Airbus is an Aequs customer and sources aircraft parts and sub-assemblies directly and indirectly from the company’s Belgaum facilities, says Quest. Speaking on the occasion, Richter said: “Airbus has been working with QuEST Manufacturing for many years. Rajendra Kumar Shreemal as Chief Financial Officer who joins QuEST Global from Wipro where he spent over 15 years in various leadership positions.  Most recently, Shreemal held the position of Senior Vice President & Head - Treasury and Investor Relations. The new contract follows an increase in the scope and size of work QuEST has been providing since 2005 when it first signed a five-year agreement with Rolls-Royce in India. “This agreement with Rolls-Royce is significant. As the company looks at strengthening its supply base, it will consolidate its position in Europe through mergers and acquisitions in the fields of aerospace and defense, power generation and engines, CEO Ajit Prabhu says. “We are a company that survived the recession through cash and courage. BUSINESS April 28, 2010 NEW DELHI — Rolls-Royce has signed Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an IT services and outsourcing company, as its second engineering partner in India to help it expand its engineering footprint in the country. Its earlier partnership with Quest Global has been extended for another five years. “We will be developing TCS and expose it to Rolls-Royce’s exacting standard  methodologies,” Anil Shrikhande, president of Rolls-Royce India, told AVIATIONn WEEK. “The partnership with TCS is part of the continuing Rolls presence in India. We are focused on looking at India for all our business sectors ... and developing India as a research base for engineering services.”  Rolls has been active in India and moving along with its plan to make India a node in its supply chain.
