Boeing unveils 737 MAX
Neelam Mathews Aug 31, 2011 The Boeing Company has announced the Board of Director’s approval to launch the new engine variant of the Boeing 737 powered by CFM International’s LEAP-1B engine. The new family of aircraft – 737 MAX 7, 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9 – builds on the strengths of the Next-Generation 737. The Company's board of directors has approved the launch of the new engine variant of the market-leading 737, based on order commitments for 496 airplanes from five airlines.
