As Scoot, Singapore’s budget carrier starts thrice-weekly flights to Taipei, a press release asks- XXL Chicken Cutlet or Hainanese Chicken Rice? Answer: Have Them Both!

“We’ve been blown away by the response to this new route, and are looking forward to adding our touch of Scootitude to Taiwan. We’re also looking forward to eating our way through Taipei,” said Campbell Wilson, Scoot’s CEO.

One-way fares start from S$178 to Taipei and TW$3,298 to Singapore. For those seeking more frills, ScootBiz airfares are available from S$348 to Taipei and TW$6,998 to Singapore.
