We have enough business, says Sheshan

Following our earlier file, R V Sheshan, CEO, MAS-GMR Aero Technic told Aerospace Diary: “We have signed long-term contract agreements with  Indian and international customers. We are not looking at exiting the business.”

Sheshan said while he could not reveal the names of customers keeping confidentiality in view, the facility had already serviced 15 aircraft.

Quest- now Aequs- New identity, same people

Neelam Mathews March 5, 2014 QuEST Global Manufacturing and QuEST Global SEZ are being rebranded as Aequs (pronounced a-cus).  The Aequs brand was unveiled at an event in Belgaum by  Dr Klaus Richter, Executive Vice President - Procurement, Airbus Group.  Airbus is an Aequs customer and sources aircraft parts and sub-assemblies directly and indirectly from the company’s Belgaum facilities, says Quest. Speaking on the occasion, Richter said: “Airbus has been working with QuEST Manufacturing for many years. U.S – India sector…..American to pull out

Neelam Mathews Jan 12, 2012 American Airlines is dropping its New Delhi – Chicago route. The service to New Delhi will end March1. American's route was launched in Nov-2005 after the U.S and India signed an Open Skies Agreement. AA says it's dropping the New Delhi route based on "the historical financial performance of the route and its future outlook given the global economic climate and high oil prices … ..” Some estimates are claiming that American Airlines is losing close to $40 million on the New Delhi route- numbers that at an initial look, seem to be astronomically high.  American said the cancellation is not specifically related to its Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring but to "normal business changes."
