China Eastern cancels 787s

As a shift in strategy, it is being reported that China Eastern Airlines is cancelling its order for 24 Boeing 787s, and ordering 15 Airbus A330s. 

China Eastern is to replace 45 Boeing 737NGs, it told the Hong Kong stock exchange. The aircraft are powered by powered by CFM56-7B engines. Deliveries start from 2014.

China Eastern has a fleet of 355 narrow and wide bodied aircraft.
