ALH crash

A Border Security Force (BSF) Advance Light Helicopter on anti-Naxal duty has crashed on the outskirts of Ranchi. Two pilots and a technician, were killed.

The ALH  Dhruv crashed in Khunti jungle after its engine caught fire.

The India Air Force has launched a rescue operation from Kalaikunda air base.

The reason for the crash was not yet known.

This is the fourth helicopter crash in the country within a year.
