Gopi’s Midas Touch in Gujarat

Deccan Shuttles, a company of Deccan Charters Ltd. has started non scheduled charter flights in Gujarat from Aug 20 connecting Ahmedabad, Surat, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar and Kandla.

Deccan Shuttles, founded by G.R. Gopinath of Air-Deccan fame will provide this service using a 9-seater Cessna Grand Caravan Aircraft, one of the most robust aircraft used worldwide for passenger services. 



“It will be of special significance to the business community as it will provide a much needed boost to their business requirements through efficient and time-saving services.” said Capt. G.R.Gopinath,” Chairman of Deccan Charters Ltd. 

The Cessna Grand Caravan 208 B is a turboprop regional aircraft and can carry up to 9 passengers. Deccan Shuttles has 2 aircraft at present; one of them is fitted with comfortable 8 single-class seats and the other one with 7 single class seats and a bench seat for 2 in a single-aisle layout. 

The service operate 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday. Each passenger is allowed a carry-on bag of 17X17X4” not to exceed 5 kgs and one checked in bag not to exceed 10 kgs. Rs.200 is charged for every extra kilogram of excess baggage.

The average cost per ticket initially will be around Rs 4000.
