Director of 'Top Gun,' 68-year old Tony Scott jumped off Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro in California.
British-born Scott paid $25,000 of his own to shoot 5 minutes of the opening shot of Top Gun, on the US Enterprise - one of the best openings of any film.
