Embraer Chairman of the Board resigns

Maurício Novis Botelho has resigned as Chairman of the Board, Embraer, with immediate effect.

As President & CEO of Embraer, from 1995 to 2007, Maurício Botelho led the restructuring, growth and internationalization process of the Company, after its privatization. He held the position of Chairman since 2006.

According to the terms of the Company’s Articles of Association, Hermann Wever, current Vice Chairman of the Board, will take over the chairmanship until the date of an extraordinary general assembly to be called, in the near future, to elect a new Chairman.
