BOC gets new Chairman

Chen Siqing is the new Chairman of BOC Aviation, 100% owned by Bank of China He takes over from Mdm. Zhang Yanling who has retired from the position.

Chen is a member of the senior management of Bank of China and has served as Executive Vice President of BOC and President of Corporate Banking Committee since June 2008. He has specific responsibilities for Corporate & Institutional Banking business which includes Global Corporate Banking, International Trade Services, Global Financial Institutions, RMB Settlement as well as Investment Banking Services.

BOC Aviation is the leading Asia-based aircraft leasing company with a portfolio of 183 modern aircraft operated by airlines worldwide. In addition, the Company has 69 aircraft on firm order and another two on committed purchase and leaseback. BOC Aviation has one of the youngest fleets in the industry with an average aircraft age of less than four years.
